He Lived by Revelation, Not Omniscience

Jesus didn't claim independent knowledge.
Instead, He consistently pointed to the Father.

"The Son can do nothing of Himself
unless it is something He sees the Father doing."
— John 5:19

When He told Nathanael,
"Before Philip called you,
I saw you under the fig tree,"
or spoke to the Samaritan woman,
"You've had five husbands" —
He wasn't accessing an unlimited
divine hard drive.
He was receiving revelation.

Jesus lived in real-time awareness,
sensitive to the leading of the Spirit:
"Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit,
was led…" — Luke 4:1

His insight came
not from self-assertion
but from relationship.
From abiding.

You may not know this about Jesus:
He lived by revelation,
not omniscience.

And this is what transforms
theology into discipleship:
He didn't live by knowing all things.
He lived by trusting the One who does.

So can we.

to trade the need to know
for the practice of abiding?
