Two Verbs That Changed The World

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations..." (Matt 28:19) When Jesus finally gave them their mission, He didn't hand them a plan to admire. He gave them words to obey. "Go... and make disciples..." (Matt 28:19) Two verbs. Simple. Direct. World altering. Because the resurrection was never meant to stay in a room with the doors locked. It was always meant to move. Go. The verb that breaks inertia. The verb that pulls faith out of hiding and into the world. Make disciples. Not fans. Not spectators. Not occasional listeners. Disciples- people who reorder their lives around Jesus' words, Jesus' ways, Jesus' reign. "Make disciples" is the mission. "Go" is the movement that carries it. Jesus didn't ask them to build a system. He called them to walk toward people- to enter real stories, real questions, real resistance, with the reality of a risen King. Go means you don't wait for the hungry to find you. You move toward them. Make disciples means you don't settle for moments. You walk with people until His voice shapes their lives. This is how the Great Commission advances- not mainly through platforms, but through lives that keep saying yes to those two verbs.
