He Heals Again When We Return
“"Get up, and go your way. Your faith has healed you."”
— Luke 17:19
You May Not Know This About Jesus
Jesus
The healing of the ten lepers
in Luke 17:11–19
is often shared as a story of compassion.
But what happens after the healing
is just as telling.
One man returns —
not just to say thanks,
but to worship.
Jesus tells him,
"Rise and go;
your faith has made you well."
Ten were healed.
One received something more.
That phrase — "made you well" —
suggests more than physical recovery.
It signals a deeper restoration:
a second healing of heart and soul.
Healing begins on the road.
Wholeness happens at His feet.
You may not know this about Jesus:
He doesn't just heal once.
He offers something deeper —
but only to those who come back.
Jesus, bring me back to Your feet.
Let gratitude
open the door
to the deeper healing
You still have for me.
Amen.
