One Miracle Proved Jesus is God

One Miracle Proved Jesus is God
"When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, 'Son, your sins are forgiven.'" (Mark 2:5) Insight People pressed into the house as Jesus preached— no space remained, not even at the door. Undeterred, a paralyzed man's friends climbed onto the roof and lowered him into the room. Meanwhile, the religious leaders sat watching, parsing every word, building a case against Him. Into that room thick with faith and hate, Jesus spoke to the man's deepest need: "Son, your sins are forgiven." Only God can forgive sins. The scribes grasped the meaning. They didn't question the man's need— they questioned the authority Jesus claimed. The Lord read their thoughts and brought the issue into the open. Forgiveness is unseen; healing cannot be denied. So, He made the unseen visible. "Get up, take your mat, and go home." And the man rose, picked up his mat, and walked out before them all. The miracle wasn't the point— it was the proof—only God can heal. Reflection Question Where am I asking Jesus for visible help while ignoring the deeper healing He is offering? What It Means to Me I bring Jesus the problems everyone can see, but He sees the hidden places where I need Him most. He knows the guilt I carry quietly, the fears I don't name, the wounds beneath the surface. Jesus begins with the deepest need, not the loudest one. Prayer Lord Jesus, thank You for seeing beyond what others notice and speaking to the places I try to hide. Teach me to trust Your authority and walk in the freedom You give. I ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.
