Matthew 6:25-26 The Lord's answer to worry isn't a formula--a list of spiritual disciplines aimed at eliminating worry. It's not a plan for what might happen. Not a strategy for what you can't control. It's a hillside. It's the sky. It's a view of what the Father is already caring for-what's being fed and clothed without striving, without asking. Jesus doesn't dismiss your needs. He redirects your gaze. "Don't worry," He says-not to ignore your fear, but to open a door to the Father's heart. Then He points. To birds that don't sow seeds, harvest crops or store food in barns. To lilies that don't work in a clothing factor or spin yarn. They receive without effort. And you? He wants you to know you're worth more. He's not asking you to imagine what isn't. He's asking you to observe what's real. To see the Father's love in what He holds in His hands. And to know this: He holds you too. You may not know this about Jesus-He doesn't just speak truth. He shows it has color and wings. He teaches with what flies and blooms. He preaches with petals and feathers. Because sometimes the most faithful sermon is the one you can see. So, look up. Look around. Not to escape, but to remember. The sky is full of flight.
