The Lamb of Heaven

After the great assembly,
after a multitude
no one could number,
after the gathering
of God’s people,
Scripture shows us
something else—

At the center of heaven
is the Lamb—Jesus.

He is surrounded
by worship.
(Rev. 5:11–12)

He is the Shepherd
who leads His people
to living water.
(Rev. 7:17)

He is the Light
that makes the city
shine.
(Rev. 21:23)

He is the One
who opens the scroll,
who carries the story forward,
who brings God’s purposes
to completion.
(Rev. 5:9)

Heaven isn’t only
a gathering.
It’s a gathering
around Someone.

Around the Lamb.

Around the One
who was slain
and yet stands.
(Rev. 5:6)

Around the One
who redeemed
people from every tribe
and language
and made them
a kingdom
and priests.
(Rev. 5:9–10)

Around the One
who wipes every tear
from every eye.
(Rev. 7:17)

Around the One
who welcomes His people
into the joy
of the Father.
(Matt. 25:34)

This is the center
of heaven—
not the city,
not the glory,
not the angels,
but the Lamb.

The Lamb who gathers.
The Lamb who leads.
The Lamb who shines.
The Lamb who reigns.

Heaven isn’t simply
where we go.
It’s where we gather
around Jesus.

The Lamb of Heaven.
The Lamb who is worthy.
The Lamb who is ours
forever.

When you picture heaven,
do you see the place—
or do you see the Lamb
who stands in the middle?

When I think of heaven,
I want my heart
to move toward Jesus Himself.
Not just the beauty,
not just the multitude,
but the Lamb who redeemed me
and will welcome me.
Heaven is home
because He is there.

You may not know this about Jesus:
heaven gathers around a Lamb.

Father, thank You
for giving us the Lamb.
Thank You
that heaven gathers around Him,
and that one day
I will too.
Lead my heart
toward Jesus now,
so that when I see Him then,
I will already know
the One at the center
of everything.
